Studio 2

Smaller control room, lighter gear spec, awesome vibe! This room is very popular with Hiphop, R&B artists for tracking vocals, editing etc…You can start your project in Studio2 and finish mixing it in Studio1 because both rooms run on the same Mac platform and same console!

Booth 1

You won't find this creative (and effective) solution to acoustical treatment anywhere else on the planet! The records on the ceiling act as a diffuser and make the room's sound very even and crisp. Booth 1 is the more reflective of our two larger tracking rooms and is perfect for giving presence to any instrument or vocal.

Studio 1

This is the biggest control room at Iguana studio. The sofa, layout and room-size is ideal for large groups, but it's also very popular with individual artists and singers. The equipment is excellent both in quality and variety. Here we do tracking, programming as well as mix-down.

Vocal Booth

Our vocal booth is very comfortable and extremely well insulated to provide maximum separation during any kind of tracking session. This is the most unreflective booth we have, which is, of course, perfect for getting an accurate vocal sound. It's cosy and intimate: the ideal atmosphere for performing.

New media / graphics workshops

Here there are 700 sq ft of space employed by affiliated companies Troika and Operation Schoener who are developing a number of world-class new media and graphic projects.

Kitchen / leisure facilities

This is the kitchen/lounge area of the studio. Here we have a pool table, television and Playstation 2. You can order a take-away from Brixton's wide selection of restaurants (Jamaican, Indian, Chinese, Kentucky…), call in catering, or for a more inventive and DIY meal, stop at the nearby Tesco or Lidl stores and use our kitchen facilities to cook whatever you can think of.

Booth 2

This tracking room houses our Yamaha Upright Piano and is larger than Booth 1. The acoustics can be varied by the use of heavy, treble-layered curtains. Depending on the sound you're looking for, these can be opened or closed to dampen any unwanted reflections. It's perfect for anything from a drum kit to a string quartet.
